Registration for the ISPCAN Congress is based on various factors including your country of residence, when you register and whether you are a member of ISPCAN or not. We encourage you to consider taking this opportunity to become a member of ISPCAN. Cultural Dinner Event:

Experience first-class Western Canadian hospitality and celebrate Alberta’s strong, vibrant First Nations communities at the Congress Cultural Dinner. The evening will feature courses of local cuisine interspersed with cultural performances and presentations by Treaty 7 First Nations elders and community members. Network with colleagues from across the globe and learn about Calgary’s rich history. It’s one of the can’t-miss events of Congress!

Master Class 

The Master Class will be held on Sunday, August 28. The purpose of the Master Class program is to provide an opportunity to spend a day with leaders within the field of child abuse and neglect, to hear their extensive and seasoned experience on a spectrum of topical areas, to gain knowledge that will improve practice for clinicians and to assist in formulating and implementing best practices. Countries in Transition Forum

The Countries in Transition Forum provides an arena where delegates from countries where work is in progress to develop child protection and child welfare systems can share their experiences and meet other experts in the field of child abuse and neglect. The format is highly interactive. This forum is a full-day program being held on Saturday, August 27, and includes lunch.

We hope that those attending the Countries in Transition Forum will also attend the Master Class the following day.
