 … For youth interested in youth empowerment and giving young people a voice in government and policy!

Do you have ideas about how to improve your community?  Are you interested in meeting other international youth who share similar goals to make positive changes? Then sign up now to join the international conversation at the 2016 ISPCAN (International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect) Youth Forum on Saturday Aug. 27! 

Participants will discuss the issues facing young people – locally and internationally – and share some possible solutions.   Youth Forum Participants will have the opportunity to present the issues and solutions discussed to delegates (including policy makers and government officials) attending the larger ISPCAN Congress on Monday, August 29. 

Youth Forum participants are also invited to hear Sheldon Kennedy speak on Monday, August 29 from 8:30-9:30am.

The Forum is free to attend and we will be providing food for the day… along with free entrance to the Telus Spark Science Centre.  If you are a youth (ages 15-25) or know someone interested in global youth empowerment please forward this webpage address! 

When: Saturday, August 27, 2016  (8:30am—4:30pm)   

Where: Telus Spark (220 St Georges Dr NE, Calgary)

Who can apply: Anyone between the ages of 15-25 years

Youth Forum Presentation: 9:30-10:00am MDT (local time)
